    A: A well balanced diet requires a wide variety of food in the right amount. However, it can be difficult to keep this up every day. Centrum has a range of multivitamins that can help fill nutritional gaps if your dietary intake is inadequate. Each Centrum Multivitamin product has a range of health benefits, visit our product page or read the label for more information.

  • Q: Is it harmful to take outdated/expired Centrum?

    A: Centrum does not recommend the use of any of its products after the expiration date indicated on the label.

  • Q: Can I take Centrum if I’m pregnant?

    A. Talk to your health professional before taking Centrum products if you are pregnant.

    Some Centrum products contain vitamin A. When taken in excess of 3,000 micrograms retinol equivalents, vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended daily amount of vitamin A from all sources is 700 micrograms retinol equivalents for women and 900 micrograms retinol equivalents for men.

    A: Talk to your health professional before taking Centrum products if you are breastfeeding.

  • Q: How many Centrum Multivitamins tablets do I need to take?

    A: Centrum Adult Multivitamin products are recommended to be taken once daily with water. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

  • Q: How do I take Centrum Multivitamins?

    A: Centrum Adult Multivitamin products should be swallowed once daily with water. Crushing, breaking, splitting, or chewing the tablets is not recommended as it may impact absorption.

  • Q: Can I take other supplements or Centrum products at the same time as other Centrum products?

    A: If you are currently taking any other vitamin or mineral supplements, please speak to your healthcare professional before taking this product. 

  • Q: What is the recommended age group for taking Centrum Adult Multivitamins?

    A: Centrum Advance, Centrum for Men, and Centrum for Women products a recommended for adults aged 18+.

    Centrum Advance 50+, Centrum for Men 50+, and Centrum from Women 50+ products are recommended for adults aged 50+.

    A: The following Centrum Kids products are suitable for children aged 4 years and above:

  • Q: Centrum Multivitamin products look different – have you changed them?

    A: Centrum Multivitamins are evolving their current label and carton design. In 2022 Centrum transitioned all the existing Multivitamin range to feature these new designs.

    This transition is likely to take at least two years from 2022 as we sell through our current stock in the existing design and transition to our new labels and cartons. You are likely to see both current and refreshed versions on shelf at the same time. No matter what the label design is, the quality of our products remains, so you can feel confident purchasing either.

  • Q: Is Centrum Advance / Centrum Advance 50+ suitable for both men and women?

    A: Yes. Centrum Advance / Centrum Advance 50+ is suitable for both men and women. Centrum Advance contains essential vitamins and minerals to help meet your bodies nutritional needs. It is a multivitamin supplement for men and women to help fill the nutritional gaps that may result from various factors such as inadequate diet resulting from a busy lifestyle.

  • Q: What is the difference between Centrum Advance 50+ and Centrum Advance?

    A: Centrum Advance 50+ varies from Centrum Advance in that it has been specifically formulated to meet the changing nutritional needs of men and women aged 50 years and over. Compared to Centrum Advance, Centrum Advance 50+ has higher levels of some B group vitamins to support energy and increased levels of antioxidants like vitamin E to support immunity. 

  • Q: What is the difference between Centrum Advance 50+ and Centrum for Women 50+ and Centrum for Men 50+?

    A: The Centrum for Women 50+ and Centrum for Men 50+ formulations have been formulated with increased levels of certain vitamins and minerals to support women's and men's health needs over 50, compared to Centrum Advanced 50+ which is an everyday formulation containing essential vitamins and minerals.

  • Q: What is the difference between Centrum Advance and the Centrum for Women and Centrum for Men products?

    A: The Centrum for Women and Centrum for Men formulation have been formulated with increased levels of certain vitamins and minerals (compared to Centrum Advance) to support women’s and men’s health needs. The Centrum Advance is an everyday formulation containing essential vitamins and minerals.
